Privacy Policy

SavvyBrain is built on a single principle: your puzzle progress stays on your device. We do not collect, upload, or sell your data — and the app doesn't require you to sign in to anything.

1. Who we are

SavvyBrain is developed by Gowdhaman Karthikeyan, an independent developer based in India. The app is published on Google Play under the package name in.savvybrain.app.

2. Data we do not collect

SavvyBrain has no server, no account system, and no sign-in of any kind. The following is never collected and never leaves your device:

Your name, email, or any personal identifier
Your location
Your contacts, photos, or files
Usage analytics or behavioural tracking
Advertising identifiers

SavvyBrain does not contain any advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting software development kits (SDKs).

3. Permissions

SavvyBrain does not request any Android permissions — not internet access, not storage, not notifications. The app works entirely offline.

4. On-device storage

SavvyBrain saves your puzzle progress locally on your device, using Android's standard app-storage APIs:

Puzzle progress — which pieces you've placed, your best completion time, and how many times you've played each date's puzzle.
Settings — your chosen theme (system, light, or dark).

None of this is transmitted anywhere. It is stored in a private database and preferences file that only SavvyBrain can access, and it is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app.

5. Sharing a solved puzzle

When you finish a puzzle, you can optionally tap "Share" to create an image of your solved board and send it to another app of your choosing (for example, WhatsApp or email), using Android's built-in share sheet.

This image is generated entirely on your device and contains only the puzzle board, the date, and your completion time — no personal data.
SavvyBrain does not send this image anywhere itself. You choose the destination app yourself from the share sheet, and that app's own privacy policy applies from that point on.
Nothing is shared unless you deliberately tap "Share".

6. Third-party services

SavvyBrain does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. No data of any kind is sent off your device by this app.

7. Children's privacy

SavvyBrain is positioned as a puzzle app for teens and adults, not a kids' app, and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children — in practice, since SavvyBrain collects no personal data from anyone, this applies equally to all users.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy — for example, if a future version of the app adds an optional feature that involves a third-party service — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and describe the change here. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
